Terlinguaite from Terlingua dist., Brewster Co., Texas, United States

The grey, glassy crystals to 5mm in the red matrix are excellent Terlinguaite. Associated with these crystals are yellow, much smaller crystal grains of Eglestonite. Both minerals were verified with XRD.

This specimen is probably one of the best ever found. I haven't seen them all however, but I've never see one like this. These are superb crystals and measure up to about 1mm or more in a 3mm cluster. It has been tested and verified by EDS/XRD. The matrix is Calcite.
