Homely looking specimen, but makes a good locality specimen from Cornwall, a historic mining region which once supplied the world with tin. The Cassiterite crystals reach 6mm but most are formless and embedded in some kind of dark green chloritoid. Nonetheless, there are still a few good chocolate crystals. A nice hand written label with further detail accompanies the specimen. See prov. tab. The specimen was acquired by Hampson in 1962.
