An impressive chunk of crystalline Cuprite ore from this historic mining district. There is one vug with cherry red micro Cuprite crystals to about 0.75mm. They stand out real well under the digital process. In-hand they are less apparent. The entire specimen is mostly Cuprite with zones of Malachite. For a micromounter, this would be a specimen to break up.
