Reddish brown fine grain crystalline areas with Aegerine or Arfvedsonite. Interesting summary on Mindat from Pavel Kartashov regarding this large alkaline massive, which is said to be the largest in the world. Pavel is spot on in his assessment of provenance. Armstrongite is named after Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. It was named on the 10th anniversery of the landing.
