Exceptional specimen of Hematite from Langban with brilliant reflective luster. It is of the quality and size as photographed in the Langban book published by the Swedish Museum of Natural History page 127. The original label claimed it as Magnetoplumbite. But a few simple tests prove it otherwise. It is not magetic and streaks a dark red. There is also no lead in it. The crystals reach 1.3cm are are striated.
