The specimen dates prior to 1918 with a copy of H.G. Hintze's label from 1962. It is perhaps from the original outcrop at Tsumeb. It contains pure white powdery looking coating of Hydrozincite lining a pocket of clear bladed Hemimorphite. The occurence is described as coming from the upper levels of Tsumeb. Gebhard mentions this on page 284 of the Tsumeb book. Hemimorphite and Hydrozincite are very hard to obtain from Tsumeb. There is minor Aurichalcite and possible Otavite in parts of the matrix but it is very minor if at all.
