I kind of went crazy on the photos, but the specimen is big and full of crystals. The main mineral is of course the large brassy crystals of Marcasite to 2cm. With these Marcasite crystals and not noted at all on the original label are superb crystals of Tetrahedrite to 5mm amongst needle Quartz. Ordinarily I would not place this specimen on the website since it is reparied. You can see the fracture down the center. However, the repair is strong and survived an ultrasonic cleaning. Looking past this flaw, I believe the specimen is still a good old specimen from Cornwall highlighting the Marcasite and Tetrahedrite and of course an important Cornish locality. See prov. tab for original tag.
