Another excellent specimen of this rare carbonate which occurs in only two countries worldwide - The USA and Japan. In the US it only occurs in three States, occurding to Mindat.org. At all of the localities in the US, Desautelsite is associated and occurs in metamorphic regimes with serpentinite. This specimen also has good single crystal clusters.
