Pink mass of pollucite. Pollucite is the only important cesium mineral found in pegmatites in such quantities to be minable. Tanco in Manitoba is a large pegmatite with huge masses of pollucite. It was also mined at the Tin Mountain pegmatite in South Dakota. Pollucite is the pegmatitic equivalent of analcime and leucite. All three form a solid solution series. According to Černý it is a late member of primary crystallization.
