A small but very rich little piece with glassy bright orange microcrystals of Montroydite, the largest of which is <0.5mm, on a thin layer of yellow-gray waxy Terlinguaite.
Montroydite was named for Montroyd Sharp, the owner of the Terlingua mine where both Montroydite and Terlinguaite were discovered.
Additionally, this little piece has some provenance from an old handwritten Ward's label with a note mentioning that these are "(fine xls)" of Montroydite.
