Wilkinsonite occurs in eruptive peralkaline trachytes and forms a series with aenigmatite. You can't see this mineral even with a microscope as it forms black grains less than 50 microns. In association is a host of other minerals including probable anorthoclase, sodalite, clinopyroxenes, nepheline, analcime, arfvedsonite. Wilkinsonite occurs in only 5 localities worldwide, one of these is from a meteorite.
