Big specimen of Dawsonite with thin white needles in clusters to 8mm covering in the vuggy areas of matrix. This is quite an impressive specimen with and an excellent example of this relatively uncommon Carbonate.

Dawsonite was discovered during the building of a famous museum in Montreal, Canada; the Redpath Museum.
