Pseudotetrahedral crystals which are a deep purple color. Chambersite is a member of the Boracite group. These crystals are formed in salt domes and brought to the surface in the brines from the extraction wells. I have never seen crystals from any other locality besides this locality and the Venice salt dome. The largest  crystal is 5mm at the base the smallest is 3mm. These are very rare.
