A good example of vein mineralization from this mine, the Silver Bell mine, in the Ophir district of  San Miguel County. It is interesting to see the zones of mineralization in the specimen from the wall zone to Galena with Calcite and then creamy light brwon Ankerite, which eventually reaches the open fractures with room for the Ankerite crystals to form. Self collected by Hampson in 1962.
