Dennis Hill, Litchfield, Kennebec Co., Maine, United States

Yellow crystalline Cancrinite in sodalite with Annite matrix. Cancrinite is a feldspathoid, which is a quartz poor mineral with a feldspar-like structure found in igneous rock. According to Mindat this locality was found in 1845. Arnold Hampson collected this specimen 100 years later in 1945.
