Rich specimen of this copper arsenide with arborescent growth in Calcite. When fresh it is a steely grey, but as the photos show the Algodonite that is exposed is tanished to a yellowish brown color. The white matrix is Calcite. Algodonite from the Keweenaw is increasingly rare on the market and uncommon worldwide.
