Hematite crystals are known for their variety of habits. On this specimen the entire black area is covered with discoidal rosettes of flashy black rosettes of Hematite to 4mm. Groups of rectangular creamy white Baryte crystals to 6mm cover the parts of the Hematite in small areas. Encroaching in from the left side are brownish Calcite crystals which cover half of the backside. It's a large specimen, fit for the cabinet to round out your sweet English suite.
