Terlingua dist., Brewster Co., Texas, United States

A superb specimen of Mosesite with excellent yellow, glassy crystals from 0.5 to 1.5mm. Specimens from Terlingua are extremely hard to obtain. This specimen came directly from a geologist who mapped the area in the 1950's. The crystals occur on a thin seam of Calcite as singles and as clusters. Near the top of the specimen as shown in the first photo is a formless cluster of probable Terlinguacreekite.
