This so-called chloride of iron is rather uncommon and is usually found in salt deposits. It has been grandfathered as a species, since it was described prior to 1959. As you can see, the antique specimen vial dates to 1926. The specimen itself is 1.5 x 1cm and has a pale yellow fibrous appearance in layers and perhaps a little copper mineralization as noted by the blue colors on the surface. It's a valuable specimen since it is so old and may be one of the original specimens.
