Bladed Bluish green Gilmarite crystals with pointed and slightly rounded terminations less than 0.5mm in length. The group sits in a 2mm vug of a porphyritic matrix which is heavily pitted. These pits are often filled with other minerals including Conichalcite and Cornwallite. This is one of the better specimens I have obtained. Gilmarite is a rare mineral and this marks the second occurence in the USA. Tested and confirmed by XRD in 2011.
