Bright yellow-green platy crystals to 2mm, which glow under sunlight and fluorescent under ultraviolent light. The mine was located in the 1890's(?) by Count Davier and triggered a small uranium rush to the northern Black Hills. However, it was short-lived since it was only a localized deposit.
