Pavonite is a rare silver-silver sulfide, similar to Berryite, which contains copper. This is an old Mineral Unlimiited specimen labeled as Pavonite. I noticed on Mindat, there is a photo from the Mike mine, which is labeled as Berryite. There is no sign of copper alteration on this specimen, which I would expect. I thus, believe Pavonite is a reasonable identification. It is a valuable locality specimen, which should be studied carefully.
