Nordenskioldine is a fairly rare tin-borate and is found in less than 15 localities worldwide. It typically occurs in alkaline pegmatites, (Arø Island, Norway); in a metasomatized marble (Arandis, Namibia); and in skarns deposits (Xianghualing mine, China & this occurence, the MW claim).

The Nordenskioldine forms a rim or band around the greenish mass and is fluorescent pale yellow. I attempted to capture the fluorescence but it turned out blue. In association are colorless to white Danburite crystals to 6mm. Carries a Geological Survey of Canada tag (prov tab).
