Without doubt this is an exceptional specimen with numerous, greater than 15, blood red Montroydite crystals. A few of the larger crystals are deeper red and almost glassy. The smaller crystals are superb also and seem to have curves and "bends" along the prism long axis. The Terlinguaite likewise is remarkable and exhibits a good yellowish green color and formless shapes, much like wax.

This is a hold-out from the Kidwell Collection I obtained several years ago. Other collections took priority. I just happen to peek inside some of the flats. Kidwell obtained this specimen in 1960 from Leon Gilmore and had it confirmed by XRD in 1975,
