Deep blue crystal grains throughout vuggy and brecciated matrix. Scorzalite is an important primary phosphate generally confined to pegmatites, but not always as at the Champion mine, where this specimen originates. The Champion mine is a concentrated aluminum, metamorphic environment hosting rich andalusite deposits and several other aluminum bearing minerals namely Al-phosphates and Al-silicates.
