Fergusonite from Berere Pegmatite Field, Bekapaika Commune, Tsaratanàna, Betsiboka, Madagascar
A fabulous group of Fergusonite. The chemical formula given below is for Fergusonite-(Y) as I have not had this one tested. On the termination is a fractured off spot, which is actually a good thing since you can see the internal nature. It is metamict, so it doesn't yield any crystal structure internally but the external morphology is preserved.
