Eurekadumpite

Eurekadumpite

Named for its type locality at the Eureka Centennial mine in Utah, USA where it was presumably found in a mine dump. It occurs there in the oxidation zone with quartz, mcalpineite, malachite, zinc-bearing olivenite, goethite, and manganese oxides.  It forms as deep blue-green or turquoise-colored spherulites or rosettes and as clusters or crusts in cavities.
