Rickardite from Hilltop mine, Organ dist., Dona Ana Co., New Mexico, United States
Here is a great hard-to-find mineral with good coverage. The Rickardite is the iridescent blue to purple crystalline masses shot up through the length of the specimen (6.5cm). The vein is 3 to 6mm wide and in a stretch of 2.5cm changes to Altaite. Both minerals are tellurides. Very good piece with an old Nikischer Collection label.
