Namansilite
Named for the composition of sodium, also called natrium (na), manganese (man), and silicon (sil). Namansilite is a rare mineral that occurs in Russia, Italy, Australia, as well as in newer localities in Germany, Japan, and Romania. It can be found in manganese and sodium-rich sediments that have been metamorphosed and oxidized.

Namansilite from Cerchiara mine, Borghetto di Vara, La Spezia, Liguria, Italy
Namansilite is a Na Clinopyroxene which occurs in highly metamorphosed and oxidized sedments rich in Manganese and Sodium forming irregular pods. This particular specimen is good, rich example of deep hematitic red tightly compact fibrous crystals.
