Gemmy, translucent, yellow crystal section showing natural and cleaved faces. Most Amblygonite-Montebrasite is opaque white as in the Black Hills. Yellow is rare, and gemmy is even rarer. It is found in fractionated pegmatites. Which end member this is has not been determined.
