It is hard to tell from the photos, but the freshly split surfaces on this specimen are a stunning. The Pyrrhotite is a bronzy-red color and the Chalcopyrite carries a nice gold color. I love the fresh fracture of the basic sulfides. Everyone should have a set of just the common sulfides showing the differences in color and luster they truly are amazing.
