Greenish yellow of Mottramite in thin crusts on lava. This occurence was once reported by Prof. Archangelo Scacchi, an Itallian mineralogist best known for his work on Vesuvius. The name "vesbine" was originally given to this mineral at Vesuvius, since it was thought to contain a new element called "vesbine"

Powdery yellow mineral in vial dated 1924. I am not sure if that is when it was collected or if it is from an eruption in 1924. It a relatively new vial, so not an antique like the other vials. Vesuvius is the type locality for Palmierite. Palmierite is rare having been reported from only nine localities worldwide.
