A large vial filled with granular orange, moist, Erythrosiderite and Molysite. Both minerals are iron chlorides and first found at Vesuvius. Lobley in 1889 reported in his book "Mount Vesuvius" that fine Erythrosiderite crystals were found in the sublimates after the great eruption in 1872. This vial is sealed which locked in the moisture and is dated 1926!
