Type Locality 

Extremely rare mineral known only from Langban, the type locality, and one other locality. This is a capsule mineral once sold by the late David Shannon. It is a 1mm piece with orange, hexagonal crystals too small to photo.

Lead was not uncommon at Langban. Miners use to sell it the merchants. They must have used it in dental work. The one side here is loaded with vein filling formless dull grey lead. The Lead occupies an area of 4 x 4cm.

Large 3 to 6mm crude crystals. Magnesioferrite is just an Mg-Fe oxide, which is magnetic and pretty hard almost at 7. Langban is the type locality.
