Maslovite is an rare platinum-bismuth-tellurium mineral found at the Merensky Reef, Bushveld complex, Transvaal, South Africa. It is submicroscopic, occuring in 200 microns in a glassy green and opaque matrix with several other sulfides. This specimen originated from Excalibur Minerals with label. It is sawed flat on one side, indicating that it was most likely analyzed.
