This is a polished section on one side and rough on the flip side. Both of the minerals are rare selenides. Josef Vajdak did the analytical work by microprobe which shows the close intimate relationship of the two minerals. The Clausthalite and Hakite can be seen in the photos as silvery white veins. It is impossible to discern the two in hand specimen. Please click the provenance tab for the analytical information, which identifies the areas which are Hakite and Clausthalite. The analysis is included with the specimen. Other minerals in the matrix include Uraninite, Tetrahedrite, and Chalcopyrite. A handful of these specimens can be seen on Mindat for this locality.
