Colorless, long, bladed crystals in slightly divergent group to 4mm. Nordenskioeldine is a rare tin borate occuring in 12 worldwide localities, which includes four in China and only one in the USA. It was first pubublished in 1887, so you would have to think it is overlooked or has a very narrow set of conditions in which to form. ID by Dr. Igor Pekov.

Schoenfliesite is a rare secondary tin mineral found in a dozen countries. The crystals are octahedral and the color is a creamy brownish yellow. Given the fact that all of the Schoenfliesite photos on Mindat are from this locality, I can safely say this is the only locality in which crystals are found. If anyone else knows otherwise, I would appreciate hearing from you.
This is a skarn deposit which is a metamorphic deposit containing marble (limestone protolith) acted upon by hot hydrothermal waters. The specimen is also highly magnetic, a mineral usually found in skarns. The question is, where did the tin come from? Cassiterite in the protolith or from the hot waters?
