This is a homely looking specimen, but it is indeed an Anglesite from the type locality of Anglesey. The crystals resemble blunt-shaped arrowheads from 1 to 3mm and are scattered throughout the vuggy matrix. It's actually a very desirable piece given its provenance from a mine first operated sometime in the 1760's.

A single, black, shiny crystal to 6mm with needles of Jamesonite crystals and Quartz. Questionable locality and eventhough it was analyzed and determined to be "argento", it lacks definite composition so I am guessing which end member it belongs to - (Cu4, Fe2). Nonetheless - a very good specimen.

The specimen was originally labelled as Bismutohauchecornite, but I am more inclined to call it Arsenohauchecornite based upon the brassy color and Bismutohauchecornite has not been reported from the Vermillion mine. The specimen sawed flat on two sides indicating it was probably worked on.
