Textbook Anglesite crystals with striations along the 101 faces and long sloping terminations coming to a chisel point. The largest crystal to 1.3cm with numerous other crystals from 2 to 7mm. Bronzy black Annite flakes throughout mass.
Biotite has historically been treated as an individual mineral species by geologist. Rieder et. al in the Canadian Mineralogist v. 36 (1998), reclassified and placed Biotite within the Annite-Phlogopite series.
