An excellent specimen for this locality. The crystals are large with good color and reach 6mm in openings created in-between Baryte(?) box work. Originated from the Columbine Mineral Shop in Ouray, Colorado.

Moroccon Vanadinite is unbeatable for its color and crystal size and shape. It is near perfection for the mineral. On the other hand, the Moroccon flooded the market and the stuff is all over the place. I can baely give it away. That's why this one is offered the price it is. I'm hoping to have somebody that is just starting out in the hobby purchase this specimen and add a nice colorful piece to their display.

This was labeled by Hampson as Mammoth mine, but I have my doubts. I'll let go as "Mammoth", but if you buy, you must keep it, if you later disagree with the locality. Hampson purchased the specimen from Charles Creekmur. At any rate, nice hexagonal crystal to 2mm with an excellent red color.
