This is an amazing specimen with an area of 7x5cm covered in platy gold Sylvanite crystals, many of which are no less than 3mm in size. There are around 10 crystals of this magnitude and many more smaller than 3mm.
Cripple Creek is one of the major telluride mineral producing localities in the world.
