The old label on this specimen claimed this to be Otavite. It's was a possibility since the Otavite does occur on Cerussite and the crystals are similar not to mention that both are carbonates. Well, not so. This is a specimen of Cerussite with crystals 1.5cm across. The entire specimen is coated with white, rhombic micro crystals of Dolomite. It was tested. Nonetheless, still a good specimen.
