White to colorless fish-shaped crystals with pointed terminations as random singles and smaller radiating groups. The single crystals measure less than 0.75mm. I'm a little curious about the radiating groups. I have not noticed these groups before from the Tip Top mine. The matrix is Heterosite.

Massive bluish, metallic specimen. Digenite can be distinguished from Covellite by moistening the specimen with a little saliva on a fresh blue surface. Covellite will turn purple, digenite will not.
