A thick bladed, translucent brown, color zoned Baryte crystal from this oldtime-classic locality. For how old the specimen must be, with an old Gregory, Bottley & Co. label, it is in good shape. The termination is sharp but with a tiny ding. There are other scuff marks, but in general most of the imperfections are internal and not man made. The prim sides have a sawtooth-like habit. Overall a great specimen.

This is one of the better specimen of all the Kuksite I had purchased last year. It is basically a specimen of Quartz with globular light green Malachite. On top of the Malachite are little yellowish green Segnitite crystal. You can see these in photos 7 and 8. All the good stuff however is on the flat side. It is very rich in Kuksite as seen in the last eight photos as spherical groups ot about 0.3mm. Likewise the Segnitite is on the backside and again as yellowish green crytstals in much thicker patches. Amongst the Segnitite are 1mm leaf Silver crystals. Awesome, interesting, rare specimen which will blow your mind under the scope.

A very interesting specimen and somewhat eye-catching. Those golden sparkles come from little Siderite rhombs. These crystals provide a nice aesthetic quality to this specimen.

A 3cm dark purplish mass of Stannite and Ferrokesterite from an ore vein which is still attached to wall-rock from this important locality. The mine itself is located on Cligga Head on the coast of the west side Cornwall.  Note that the three tin minerals from here (asside from Cassiterite) - Stannite, Ferrokesterite, and Kesterite can look a lot alike and often occur together. So with this specimen, you probably are getting all three. It's a good ore specimen which shows metallic mineralization and a band of outer mica alongside the wall-rock.
