Delicate, yes, but still shippable. The specimen contains the classic red prismatic crystals to over 1cm. Many are terminated, which is usually not the case. There is slight veneer of siliceous hard material on the crystals and is not removable. Crocoite from Tasmania is the best in the world. At one time this was a $215 specimen. The market has been flooded and the prices came down.

This is one of those specimens that is best observed with a microscope. Although in-hand, it quite beautiful since the Malachite covers much of the matrix with 2mm fuzzy round clusters. The darker, glassy, balls are Philipsburgite. The Dugganite is sparse actually and occurs as single, pearly, hexagonal plates to about 0.5mm in size. It's definitly a "legacy" piece from a mine no longer in operation.

This is one of the better specimen of all the Kuksite I had purchased last year. It is basically a specimen of Quartz with globular light green Malachite. On top of the Malachite are little yellowish green Segnitite crystal. You can see these in photos 7 and 8. All the good stuff however is on the flat side. It is very rich in Kuksite as seen in the last eight photos as spherical groups ot about 0.3mm. Likewise the Segnitite is on the backside and again as yellowish green crytstals in much thicker patches. Amongst the Segnitite are 1mm leaf Silver crystals. Awesome, interesting, rare specimen which will blow your mind under the scope.
