The Philipsburgite in this update is out of the Fred DeVito's collection. I found a lost flat of this stuff, so it was a real surprise.

There are several radiating groups of Philipsburgite, which are the largest crystal groups. They are glassy green and the largest is to 4mm. All of the blue that you see is Chrysocolla to some degree, it is hard and it replaces one of the copper minerals such as pseudomalachite, conichalcite, and olivenite.

Of the three specimens of Philipsburgite on this update, this is the best one. The crystal groups (1 to 1.5mm) are much smaller but have a good deep emerald green color and are nicely formed.
