Rich specimn with tiny acicular crystals occupying an area of 15 x 8mm at the center of a Quartz vein through Galena. Excellent specimen of a rare lead halide found at only four localities worldwide. The Grand Reef mine in Arizona is the type locality. This piece is my last piece of a lot I purchased several years ago.

The void in this specimen is 2 x 1.5cm and has three long prismatic crystals to around 1cm each. The void daylights on the flip side and the crystals on that side are lighter and more transluent. There are numerous other micro crystals in other spots on the matrix. Associated are glassy light yellow Adamite and little rice shaped crystals of Hydrozincite.

Deep rusty red radial groups of Macfallite to 7mm in black massive Braunite. This material carries a Paul Moore label from the Universitty of Chicago. Moore described Macfallite so I am assuming this stuff is type material or at least study material for the description. Macfallite is limited to only six occurences worldwide.
