This is a fascinating specimen and has a lot of really good micro crystals of Polybasite and Acanthite. But amongst the Quartz crystals is also some green Sphalerite, Chalcopyrite and Pyrite. There are two nice crystals of Calcite to 1.5cm and some of the Quartz is amethyst.

Excellent specimen with several rare sulfosalts including Pyrargyrite (cherry red internal reflections) which is most of the matrix. The Argyrodite is in veins and is dull black and spongy. The rest of it is obscure and I can't really discern any of them with certainty. These include the Stephanite, Polybasite, Diaphorite, and Acanthite. The red you see in the photos I believe to be Sphalerite. The specimen was formerly in the Werner Paar collection. Werner is an expert in the mineralogy of sulfosalts, especially of this locality. Comes with Paar's personal label as seen in the prov. tab. Paar placed a catalog number on the specimen, which matches to label.

This specimen has got to be one of the best Kelly mine Aurichalcites around. It has thick coverage of thin platy blue crystals in 3-4mm rosettes. There are crystals on the front and back with good micro bluish white crystals of Smithsonite  on the base. It is as good as it looks and definitely museum quality.
