Dr. Igor Pekov published Arsenowagnerite as a new IMA mineral. This specimen was used to help described the new species. This is the only known locality. The mineral forms translucent, glassy light green crystals with Hematite in the  fumarolic environmant of the Tolbachik volcano. On this specimen the crystals are about 0.75mm and were hard to photograph.

A more accuratel locality description is: Arsenatnaya fumarole, Second scoria cone, Northern Breakthrough (North Breach), Great Fissure eruption (Main Fracture), Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka Krai, Russia. (Mindat).
