Kayrobertsonite is seen in the photos as white puff balls composed of acicular crystals too tiny to see. Hagendorf and Foote share the type locality. Nordgauite is also white and acicular. This is a fairly rich specimen. It is from the stock of Dr. Jaroslav Hyrsl.

There is a lot packed in one mineral all of which are rare tin minerals. Tin minerals such as these, which were tested, are very rare. It carries a University of Salzburg label as seen in the provenance tab. My guess is that it originated with the well-know mineralogist, Werner Paar. I don't think any of the minerals can be easily discerned with the eye. However the microprobe disc is proof enough for identification. The specimen is sawed on one side. It is very heavy and is dark goldish metallic.

This is a specimen from Dr. Igor Pekov's collection, which was used to help describe the mineral. The Nickeltsumcorite crystals are the tiny yellow spherulites to about 0.3mm. It is rich and tested by Pekov of course. It is a two-locality mineral, this being the type locality.
